Should liquor stores be privatized?
Secretary of State Sam Reeds recent comments regarding the two liquor-privatization initiatives failed to note one extremely important difference: Initiative 1105 would require wholesalers and retailers to pay the state a percentage of their liquor sales over the first five years after licensing.
